Rob White is a writer and filmmaker from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. His creative journey began with a passion for storytelling through short films, where he honed his skills in crafting narratives and capturing moments on camera.
Drawing from his background in visual storytelling, Rob infuses his writing with hilarious vivid imagery and offbeat topics to create short form satire pieces. Rob's writing is characterized by its blend of humor and introspection, often reflecting on the nuances of everyday life in a surreal but relatable manner. His work has been featured on popular humour platforms such as Slackjaw and Points in Case, where he delights readers with his witty observations and insightful commentary. In 2021, he placed in the top 20 out of over 500 entries in the Slackjaw Humour Writing Challenge.
In 2024 he was offered the opportunity to open for David Sedaris on his American book tour.
He continues to be inspired by diverse narratives and uses humour to shock and connect with audiences.
